| Thursday 8 January 2009 Again waiting for surgery tomorrow. Met again with the neurosurgeon for the pregame pep talk and complications discussion with nothing surprising. Loved Haydens exchange with the neuro orthopedic surgeon at the Cavs game!! Feeling comfortable about the cource so far.. A call yesterday from a friend of Susan's here in St Petersburg who had an 18 bone set of fractures and a good result and wants to be Kerry's cheerleader for the recovery phase here. Will be looking for a rehabilitation facility in the next several days. "Hope springs eternal from the human breast". Kerry is very alert today with her questions suggesting she has no memory of the last 2 weeks. The human mind is very protective in its amnesic abilities. Marty |
